Dry Chemical Powder Quality - BC Type

Approval Officially granted ISI Mark for use on Fires of Class B 
& C as per IS : 4308. Also tested by DIFR, ITALAB, and approved by TAC.
Composition We are manufacturing four different varieties of BC powders based on 
1.  Sodium Bi Carbonate
2.  Potassium Bi Carbonate
3.  Potassium Sulphate
All the powders are coated with high grade Silicone hydrophobien agents.
Applications

Suitable for extinguishing flammable liquids 
( petroleum oil, alcohols, etc. ) gases burning  under pressure ( methane, propane, etc. ), plastics, Polyethylene polyurethane, polysterol, etc. and fire in dry electrical installations.

Extinguishing Properties : The extinguishing action is mainly due to the anti-catalytic action caused by breaking the radical chains present in the flame.
Appearance : Fine easily free flowing powder.  If requested can be coloured for easy indentification.
Suitability for Extinguishing Equipment :

It is suitable for hand operated fire extinguishers of all types as well as for mobile extinguishers and fixed installations.  Dry propelling agents such as compressed air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide can be used.

Foam Compatibility : All powders are fully foam compatible.
Physiological Properties : Contains no constituents which could cause toxic damage to humans or animals.
Corrosive Effects : In a dry state no corrosive effect on metals.
Storage : Powder can be stored safely without affecting its efficiency for at least 3 years, if kept in original packages.
Packing : A. 5 Kg / 10 Kg / 50 Kg in Polyethylene lined HDPE Bags
B. Plastic / Fibre drums with inner Polyethylene bags of 50 Kgs. Other types of packing upon request.

Transportation All B C powder displays outstanding properties when transported through pipes, hoses, etc. under pressure.
Water Repellancy Increase in wt. is < 1.5%
Flowability > 70 gms per second
Temperature Stability - 60 to 800C
Reaction to Vibration Powder flows freely even when vibrated at 200 V / Mt for 2 Hrs.
