Composition : Based on Ternary Eutectic Chloride with the addition of high melting compounds.
Extinguishing Properties and
Effects :

With fire involving metals, the extinguishant must be applied gently.  
This special technique is achieved by applying the extinguishant via an applicator which is screwed on 
to a dry chemical nozzle.  Powder blanket adheres immediately and remains impermeable to air.  A dense crust is formed through the influence of high temperature.

Applications :

Quality D is well tried special dry chemical powder for metal fires such as Sodium, Pottassium, Calcium, Aluminium, Titanium, Zirconium and various alloys.

Conformity : It complies with the requirements of India Standards IS : 4861
Appearance : Quality D is a fine grey, easily flowing powder.
Corrosive & Abrasive Effect : In a day state it does not  affect any metal.
Purity  : The products used are selected industrial raw materials.
Physiological Properties : It contains no toxic constituents, neither are any toxic products of decomposition given off in fire.
Storage  :

The Powder can be stored safely, without affecting 
its efficiency for at least 2 years if kept in our original packages which are hermetically sealed protected against humidity.

Packing : Plastic containers, polythene lined of 25 / 50 Kg nett contents.

Moisture sensitivity Less than 0.5% when subjected to 150 hrs. at 80% humidity.  It remains free flowing.
Hygroscopicity Less than 200%
